Authentic Persian copper household vessel from the late Qajar–early Pahlavi period. Hand-raised and hammered with bands of chased boteh (paisley) and floral scrolls, then tinned on the interior for kitchen use. The rolled rim and robust wall thickness give it great presence; the naturally aged surface shows decades of honest use and a beautiful mix of warm copper, silvered tin, and deep oxidation.

Highlights

Genuine Iranian workshop piece, not modern pressed décor

Hand-hammered body; repoussé + chased decoration in classic Persian boteh bands

Original tin lining remains visible inside and along the rim

Wonderful, untouched patina—ideal for display, styling, or as a characterful planter (with liner)

Attribution notes
The boteh border, floral meander, work method (raised copper with tinning), and form correspond to Iranian deg/degchi cook- and store-pots made for domestic kitchens circa 1900–1930.
